Kiah Siobhán Good, MA, LPC
About Me
My name is Kiah Siobhán Good, founder of Loamlight Counseling, and I’m a licensed professional counselor based in Colorado. I will be dually licensed in South Dakota beginning in the summer of 2026. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, a local CACREP-accredited program.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from a wide range of backgrounds and presenting concerns. Before starting my private practice, I worked in both community mental health and group practice settings and volunteered extensively in social justice initiatives with a focus on underserved youth. I am comfortable supporting clients through a broad spectrum of challenges, including those involving significant or persistent mental health conditions.
My clinical work increasingly focuses on complex trauma, family-of-origin issues, relationship and attachment concerns, grief and loss, faith and spirituality, and major life transitions. I often find that all too common symptoms of depression and anxiety—while not always directly caused by experiences in these domains of life—are frequently connected to them, and that improvement in these underlying areas often leads to meaningful, lasting relief.
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and grounded in evidence-based practice with a person-centered style, which should feel conversational and comfortable even when therapy is challenging. I view therapy as a collaborative process, shaped by each client’s unique needs and goals. I aim to provide an environment that is safe, respectful, and supportive—one where clients can develop insight, build resilience, and move toward change at a sustainable pace.
Ultimately, I’m committed to helping you strengthen your internal resources, deepen your own self-understanding, and create lasting patterns of growth and well-being.

What's in the name?
Light is what allows us to see—sometimes illuminating the path ahead, sometimes simply providing the clarity needed to take the next step. It is essential for growth, especially when the way feels dark or uncertain.
Loam is a rich and balanced type of soil, made up of consummate parts sand, silt, and clay. It provides the grounding that allows roots to deepen and life to flourish. It nourishes and sustains both resilience and renewal.
The name Loamlight Counseling was inspired by the idea that therapy should be a cultivated space where safety and grounding make it possible to dig deep, and where light offers clarity and direction for change.
Coming to therapy is like turning over soil together—making room for growth, even in the most vulnerable places affected by adversity or trauma. With the right support, healing and new life can take root in ways that are sustainable and may even support post-traumatic growth.
